  • Summarise the scientific mechanisms underlying oral contraception, including their effects on the reproductive system
  • Identify the basic physiology that underpins female fertility and the targets for oral contraception
  • Distinguish how the various pharmacological agents work to allow comparison of effectiveness and safety profile
