Description

The immunisation program against RSV, targeting pregnant women and young infants has now been going in Australia for over 12 months. In this presentation, A/Prof Daryl Cheng will provide an update on this program, discussing the burden of disease caused by RSV and how this is being affected by the new immunisation initiative. He will also present the latest effectiveness and safety data of the vaccine, and address program-related issues, including the eligibility variation between states for the funded RSV monoclonal antibody for infants.
