One in four women have experienced emotional abuse from a partner, and one in six have experienced physical or sexual abuse, and increasingly technology is being used to perpetuate this abuse. In this presentation, Rosalie O’Neale, who manages the eSafety Women program for the eSafety Commissioner, takes a look at the different forms of tech-facilitated abuse, reveals some of the red flags that indicate this is occurring, discusses who is most at risk and why health professionals are well-placed to help.
