Description

Weight gain during perimenopause is a common presentation in general practice. And while it may be common, it is one that still needs medical assessment and treatment, not only for the woman’s quality of life, but also for the potential health benefits, specifically metabolic disease prevention.

In this expert panel, General Practitioner Dr Angela Kwong will discuss the various issues and considerations arising with this type of presentation with Endocrinologist Dr Nadia Tejani and weight management General Practitioner Dr Georgia Rigas.

Expert panel:

  • Dr Angela Kwong | General Practitioner (Facilitator)
  • Dr Georgina Rigas | Obesity and Metabolic Health Doctor
  • Dr Nadia Tejani | Endocrinologist
