Description

The use of GLP-1 receptor agonists have revolutionised weight loss management in primary care. But their use, particularly in certain populations, can present challenges.

In this panel discussion, General Practitioner Dr Angela Kwong will present the case of a 25-year-old woman living with obesity who can’t lose weight, alongside obesity experts A/Prof Samantha Hocking and Dr Georgia Rigas. They will cover a range of issues associated with this cohort and weight management including contraception, PMOS and ongoing implications for and in pregnancy.

Expert panel:

  • Dr Angela Kwong | General Practitioner (Facilitator)
  • A/Prof Samantha Hocking | Endocrinologist
  • Dr Georgina Rigas | Obesity and Metabolic Health Doctor
