Dr Alison Lancey

GP and Medical Educator; NSW Primary Heath Network, DFSV Consortium
Alison is a passionate GP and specialist medical educator working with the Hunter New England & Central Coast Primary Health Network’s (HNECCPHN) Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) team as their clinical lead. Within this position she develops and presents on the topics of domestic and sexual violence and child sexual abuse to primary health clinical and non-clinical staff across the region, and also works with the Nepean Blue Mountain and Central South East Sydney PHN teams. She is also the RACGP Deputy Head of Training for the Hunter, Manning & Central Coast region, a mum, and loves writing and directing plays (in her spare time). Alison believes in the power of education to drive change and improve long-term health outcomes by building the confidence of everyone to identify and support vulnerable patients, clients, friends, colleagues, or family who might be experiencing DFSV.
