Dr Wenjie Zhong is a Consultant Urologist and Robotic Urological Surgeon based in Sydney, Australia. Australian-trained, he was awarded the prestigious robotic surgeon certification through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Surgical Education and Training (SET) program. He also completed an advanced fellowship in uro-oncology at a high-volume centre within the North Bristol Trust in the UK, affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Zhong has comprehensive expertise across general urology and uro-oncology and is an authorised prescriber of the Uromune vaccine for recurrent urinary tract infections. His clinical interests include the management of kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, lower urinary tract symptoms and haematuria. He performs laser stone surgery and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). Dr Zhong treats prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers, with particular expertise in male urethral reconstruction and continence procedures. He also manages erectile dysfunction and performs penile prosthesis insertion.

Dr Zhong has a strong research background, having authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences. His academic interests focus on advancing evidence-based practice in urology, particularly through high-quality clinical trial design.
