Dr Benson is a clinician, educator and healthcare innovator working at the frontier of general practice and the technologies reshaping modern medicine. A specialist GP in an independent clinic in Melbourne’s north, he brings a frontline clinical perspective to his role as Director of Clinical Innovation at Bupa. He is an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University, a University of Melbourne GP Supervisor and an AGPT Trainer, and served on the RACGP’s education expert committee from 2016 to 2018. His work focuses on translating genomics, pharmacogenomics and digital health into everyday practice in ways that are safe, evidence-based and clinically meaningful.
