Biography

Professor Pete Smith is an allergist based in Southport. He is medical director of Allergy Medical, Brisbane - a primary care, allergy dedicated clinical service. Pete has research activities in food allergy, eczema, rhinitis and hypersensitivity. He is also a Professor of Clinical Medicine at Griffith University, where he – in collaboration with leading centres in Europe and North America – is conducting research into molecular aspects in allergic and hypersensitive conditions. Prof Pete sits on several national and international advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at medical conferences.
