Michael Yelland is a musculoskeletal medicine practitioner at the Arana Hills Medical Centre, Brisbane, and is an honorary Associate Professor at the School of Medicine at Griffith University. He was Associate Professor of Primary Health Care at the School from 2005-2016 after over 18 years as a GP academic at UQ. His teaching, research and clinical interests focus on evidence-based diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal pain. He set up and teaches in the Certificate in Musculoskeletal Medicine run by the Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine.
