Dr Aviv Pudipeddi is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at Concord Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital, and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He serves on the GESA IBD Faculty, where he has a key role in education, and has developed a nationwide mentorship program for gastroenterology trainees.

Dr Pudipeddi has completed a PhD focused on optimising advanced therapy use in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), with particular interests in treatment de-escalation and histological outcomes. His research has been recognised with both national and international awards.
