Dr Shruti Swamy is a paediatric allergist and immunologist who completed subspeciality training though the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.
She has a special interest in food allergy, inborn errors of immunity, as well as translational research. She has completed a Masters by Research at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research interrogating a novel gene associated with paediatric lung disease. She is also the lead for national and international studies, and is a clinical lecturer with the University of Sydney.
Shruti is the co-lead of the Paediatric Allergy and Immunology service at RPAH, and the co-chair of the Paediatric Immunology and Allergy interest group. Shruti has set up allergy services in regional NSW, and is a supervisor in the Associateship of Clinical Allergy, as she strives to improve access to evidence based allergy care across regional and rural Australia.
