Prof John Boyages AM

Radiation Oncologist; ICON Cancer Centre; Honorary Professor, ALERT Lymphoedema Program, Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences, Macquarie University
Professor John Boyages is a breast cancer specialist with over 35 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. He trained at the University of Sydney and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard University. He is a radiation oncologist at the ICON Cancer Centre He has published more than 180 research papers. He has established breast cancer screening, treatment and lymphoedema programs. He is the author of three Taking Control series of books for patients (www.bcpublish.com). In 2017, he was awarded an order of Australia for his work with breast cancer.
