Dr Sam Mehr

Dr Sam Mehr is a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex allergic and immune conditions in children and adolescents. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and undertook specialist training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.
Dr Mehr works in both public and private practice. He has private consulting rooms in Melbourne (Epworth Richmond and Offspring Hawthorn). He currently holds appointments as a Consultant Staff Specialist in Allergy and Immunology at the Royal Children’s Hospital and as an Immunopathologist at Dorevitch Pathology.
He provides care for children and adolescents with severe eczema, food, insect and drug allergies, non-IgE–mediated food allergies, hay fever, immunodeficiency, and periodic fever syndromes. Dr Mehr has expertise in food allergy management and offers oral immunotherapy for IgE-mediated food allergies.
Dr Mehr is involved in clinical research and has published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has participated in multiple clinical trials and is committed to translating evidence into practical, patient care.
