Dr Georgia Rigas is an obesity doctor who leads the medical management arm of the Bariatric Unit at St George Private Hospital, Sydney, Australia’s first internationally accredited Bariatric Centre of Excellence. She brings a holistic care approach to the management of people living with obesity. One of her key primary focus areas is the multi-generational effects of obesity. She is committed to providing clear and effective communication with patients, being open and transparent, and practicing ethically, by recommending effective evidence-based treatments.

Dr Nadia Tejani is a dedicated Endocrinologist with extensive experience in both public and private practice. She runs the Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) clinic at Fairfield Hospital and delivers comprehensive care in private practice for diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity, thyroid disorders, and PCOS. Passionate about patient-centred care, she develops individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Dr Tejani has contributed to the TOBOGGAN trial, actively teaches junior residents and registrars, and maintains a conjoint appointment with UNSW. She regularly attends national and international conferences to stay at the forefront of endocrinology.

Dr Angela Kwong is a General Practitioner with a special interest in weight management and metabolic health. She services at the NSW State Lead for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Specific Interests Group in Obesity Management and is actively involved in GP education through national conferences and webinars. She is the founder of Enlighten Me, a GP-led model of multidisciplinary weight management care.
