A/Prof Subhadra Evans

Associate Professor, Psychology, Deakin University
Associate Professor Evans studies psychological and mind-body interventions to improve the quality of life of people living with chronic illness and pain. She received specialist training from the National Institutes of Health to conduct research in clinical trials of mind-body medicine. Dr Evans completed her PhD at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and her post-doctoral work at Brunel University in West London, and the University of California, Los Angeles. She now leads the Mind-Body Research in Health (MiRth) Lab in the School of Psychology at Deakin University.
