Dr Gideon Blecher is an Australian qualified Urologist and Andrologist. As a surgeon who looks after male reproductive and sexual health issues, he has the experience and knowledge to manage complex problems. He has completed several years of overseas fellowship subspeciality training, in both andrology as well as robotic oncology in some of London’s most esteemed hospitals.Dr Blecher specialises in a variety of areas including erectile dysfunction, penile prosthetic surgery, Peyronie’s disease, genital reconstruction, male infertility, male incontinence, testicular and penile lesions, as well as sexual dysfunction and general urology.Dr Blecher graduated from Monash University (MBBS Hons) in 2004. He completed Urology training (FRACS Urol) in 2014 and subsequently spent three years obtaining his dual fellowships. He is the current co-chairperson of the Young Sexual Medicine Academy (YOsEMA). Gideon has authored multiple medical book chapters and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Jade Barclay is a Māori -Australian researcher, therapist, and science educator focused on health equity. Her PhD investigated diagnostic delay and prevention for pain management with hypermobility, neruodiversity and multimorbidity. MBA, Master of Public Health from UNSW and PhD In medicine from the University of Sydney where she is a Research Fellow in Digital Public Health.
Dr Chiara Chadwick is an Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon, specialising in disorders of the stomach and oesophagus as well as metabolic bariatric surgery. She is also accredited to perform Upper GI endoscopy through the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE). Dr Chadwick completed her General Surgical Training through Alfred Health, obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2018. Dr Chadwick then undertook a full-time PhD at Monash University, completing her Thesis, “Identifying factors for patient selection to improve health resource utilisation in bariatric surgery within the public health system,” in 2023. During this time, she was also employed as a General Surgery and Oesophagogastric Surgical fellow at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Vic. Dr Chadwick was accepted to the highly competitive Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (AANZGOSA) post-fellowship training program commencing in 2023. She undertook her 2-year subspecialty post fellowship training at The Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney, NSW and The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, QLD. Dr Chadwick’s research interests focus on public health and health economics in bariatric and metabolic surgery, improving patient outcomes and the efficacy of health system resource use. She is currently employed as a senior research fellow with the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Bariatric Surgery Registry. Dr. Pyi Naing is a dual-trained cardiologist and general physician with subspecialty expertise in echocardiography. His clinical and academic interests include the evaluation and management of breathlessness, pulmonary hypertension, chronic heart failure, cardiac risk assessment, and valvular heart disease. Dr. Naing completed his basic physician training at the Gold Coast Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, followed by advanced general medicine training at Royal Darwin Hospital. He undertook advanced cardiology training and an echocardiography fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital—Australia’s premier cardiac centre—where he gained comprehensive skills across all echocardiographic modalities. A dedicated clinician-academic, Dr. Naing holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree from the University of Notre Dame, Australia, and has recently submitted his Ph.D. thesis focusing on novel approaches to improving care for patients with breathlessness. He also serves as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland. Dr Ramy Bishay is an endocrinologist and visiting medical officer at Norwest Private Hospital, offering an integrated approach to hormonal and metabolic disorders. He manages complex conditions including thyroid disease, diabetes, obesity and PCOS. He is a senior lecturer at Western Sydney University, he has extensive publications and actively contributes to multidisciplinary thyroid cancer care.

Dr Sam Mehr is a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex allergic and immune conditions in children and adolescents. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and undertook specialist training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.
Dr Mehr works in both public and private practice. He has private consulting rooms in Melbourne (Epworth Richmond and Offspring Hawthorn). He currently holds appointments as a Consultant Staff Specialist in Allergy and Immunology at the Royal Children’s Hospital and as an Immunopathologist at Dorevitch Pathology.
He provides care for children and adolescents with severe eczema, food, insect and drug allergies, non-IgE–mediated food allergies, hay fever, immunodeficiency, and periodic fever syndromes. Angela Newbound is a Registered Nurse and Immunisation Education Consultant based in South Australia, and has been delivering immunisation education and clinical support to general practice and other health professionals since 2000.She delivers clinical competency immunisation training workshops for pharmacists and continues to support immunisation providers through her role as the Immunisation Coordinator at the Adelaide Primary Health Network.She is a member of the Immunisation Coalition and provides clinical oversight of the PneumoSmart Vaccination Tool.

Recognizing the potential of advanced laparoscopy to transform gynaecological care, she pursued an additional 2-year AGES fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic surgery under the mentorship of Associate Professor Jim Tsaltas. This specialized training equipped her with the knowledge and skills to perform intricate surgeries with minimally invasive techniques, reducing patient discomfort and promoting faster recovery. Dr. Nyasha is known for her compassionate and patient-centered approach. She takes the time to thoroughly educate her patients about their conditions and involves them in the decision-making process. Dr Benjamin Au is a consultant in both Australia and Singapore specializing in complex cataract surgery and refractive surgery. He completed his ophthalmic training at the Singapore National Eye Centre and pursued a fellowship in Complex Cataracts at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH). He received the Clive and Joan Ward Staff Development Scholarship from Eastern Health to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Ulster University. Dr Au is currently the Chair of the RANZCO Younger Fellows Advisory Group, and immediate past head of the Acute Ophthalmology Department at RVEEH.
Alison is a passionate GP and specialist medical educator working with the Hunter New England & Central Coast Primary Health Network’s (HNECCPHN) Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) team as their clinical lead. Within this position she develops and presents on the topics of domestic and sexual violence and child sexual abuse to primary health clinical and non-clinical staff across the region, and also works with the Nepean Blue Mountain and Central South East Sydney PHN teams. She is also the RACGP Deputy Head of Training for the Hunter, Manning & Central Coast region, a mum, and loves writing and directing plays (in her spare time). Alison believes in the power of education to drive change and improve long-term health outcomes by building the confidence of everyone to identify and support vulnerable patients, clients, friends, colleagues, or family who might be experiencing DFSV.

She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003, with subsequent clinical training at St George and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012 and was conferred her PhD in 2017. She teaches for the Sydney University Medical School and the Masters of Internal Medicine programs, and provides education for junior doctors and vocational trainees across many forums.Associate Professor Troy has clinical and research expertise in interstitial lung diseases and interventional pulmonology, sitting on multiple Australasian and International Guideline Task Forces in these areas. She had a leadership role in the RPA Hospital and Sydney Local Health District COVID-19 pandemic response. She has recently been appointed Co-Director of the newly established RPA Hospital Institute for Academic Medicine.
