Prof Gary Wittert graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is Professor of Medicine at the University of Adelaide, Director of the Freemasons Centre for Male Health and Wellbeing, Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and Senior Principal Research Fellow at SAHMRI. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences. His research focuses on obesity and men’s health, including testosterone, sexual function, lower urinary tract symptoms, depression and health-service use. He has more than 500 publications and serves on several national and international advisory bodies. His interests are photography, travel and guitar.
