Dr Aviv Pudipeddi & Dr David Lim

Dr Aviv Pudipeddi is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist at Concord Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital, and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He serves on the GESA IBD Faculty, where he has a key role in education, and has developed a nationwide mentorship program for gastroenterology trainees. Dr Pudipeddi has completed a PhD focused on optimising advanced therapy use in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), with particular interests in treatment de-escalation and histological outcomes. His research has been recognised with both national and international awards.

Dr David Lim has been a GP in Newtown for over 30 years and has interests in under and post graduate medical education and also a specific interest in the management of Type 2 Diabetes. David retired after 42 years of GP and medical education in mid 2025. He maintains a keen interest in changes and updates that affect clinical practice.
