Healthed webcasts are a valuable educational platform, allowing viewers to gain up-to-date clinical knowledge through an easy, time-efficient format. Our free online seminars fill a huge unmet need amongst GPs outside of the major cities for quality, accessible education. Each webcast features four lectures and runs for two hours. While the majority of viewers are GPs, our webcasts are relevant for healthcare professionals including pharmacists and nurses.

That is the question Associate Professor Greg Katsoulotos will answer in this very practical update on all things asthma. In addition, he will address the recommended approach to the patient who presents with symptoms despite being on treatment - from revisiting the diagnosis, to when and how treatment should be 'stepped-up', including the use of triple therapy.
Important updates to the National Cervical Screening Program Clinical Guidelines are set to come into practice from this April. Here, Professor Deborah Bateson will highlight the key changes that are relevant to general practice including the changes to the screening for women with immune deficiencies, post-treatment surveillance of women with a HSIL and recommendations for screening of women following hysterectomy. Using case studies, Professor Bateson will demonstrate how these latest updates will change clinical practice.
Learn how changes in the PBS criteria for dapagliflozin enhances our ability to manage our patients better and more proactively. SGLT2 inhibitors appear to be our latest wonder drugs, having been shown to have multiple benefits for multiple diseases. But prescribing can be tricky as each indication has its own PBS authority! In this talk, A/Prof Ralph Audehm will explain the different listings and why it is important to choose the correct indication when prescribing this very effective class of drugs.

So says Associate Professor Karam Kostner who, in this talk will not only present the latest evidence for this claim but will also detail the newest available treatments for high LDL-C and how they can and should be incorporated into clinical practice to optimise patient health outcomes.
