Dry eye disease is an increasingly common condition that, while not life-threatening, can cause considerable irritation and distress. In this talk, ophthalmic surgeon, Dr Alison Chiu will provide an update on the pathophysiology of dry eye and who is at risk of developing this condition. She will also discuss the latest recommendations for assessment and management of dry eye disease, including how to decide which artificial tear formula is most appropriate and which non-pharmaceutical therapies may be of benefit.
