In this Healthed lecture, respiratory physician Dr Clare Tiedeman presents the evidence for the incorporation of biologics in the management of advanced COPD and their effectiveness, which has proven to be substantial for a significant proportion of patients. Importantly, she also discusses how to identify those COPD patients who are most likely to benefit from this new treatment and the eligibility criteria for patients to access the new biologics on the PBS.
