Associate Professor Vicki Kotsirilos AM is a specialist GP working at Bayside Medical Suites with nearly 40 years of clinical experience. She is Australia’s first Authorised Prescriber of Medicinal Cannabis. Dr Kotsirilos is a regular health advisor, medical educator, keynote speaker, and an adjunct Associate Professor at the NICM, University of Western Sydney. Over the last two decades, Dr Kotsirilos has served on many regulatory state and federal Government expert committees such as the TGA, ADRAC, the Medicinal Cannabis Expert Working Group, a non-statutory Australian government body, that advises the Department of Health and Aged Care, and the Australian Advisory Council on the Medicinal Use of Cannabis. She has also helped develop guidelines with Department of Transport and Planning for health professionals who prescribe medicinal cannabis to patients and how cannabis impacts driving.
