Dr Jeremy Rosenbaum

Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, University Hospital Geelong and Cabrini Hospital Malvern
Dr Rosenbaum is an experienced consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist working at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, University Hospital Geelong and Cabrini Hospital Malvern.

He graduated from Monash University, Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS, Hons) and then trained at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. In 2012-2013, he was awarded a postgraduate Clinical Academic Fellowship in Paediatric Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.

In his role at the Royal Children’s Hospital, he is clinical lead of endoscopy services ensuring high quality, safe and efficient provision of care. This includes supervision and education of trainees.

In addition to clinical work, Dr Rosenbaum is a committee member of the Victorian Medical Council of Safer Care Victoria, Private Practice Council of Australian Medical Association (AMA), Australia and New Zealand Gastroenterology International Training Association (ANZGITA) and also volunteers with Taking Paediatric Abroad (TPA) program.

He is also an honorary research fellow at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and regularly participates and collaborates in national and international research projects. Dr Rosenbaum also regularly reviews articles for several high impact journals. Dr Rosenbaum is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and accredited with the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE).
