Dr Peter Lin is the Director of Primary Care Initiatives at the Canadian Heart Research Centre in Toronto, Canada. He is a contributing author to the Canadian Diabetes Guidelines 2013 and 2018 on the vascular protection section, and is the past Associate Editor for the Elsevier Web Portal – Practice Update Primary Care.

Dr Lin has lectured extensively on diabetes, glucose monitoring, CV disease, lipids, asthma, COPD, cancers, drug interactions, herb interactions, vaccinations, dementia, osteoporosis, effects of microplastic, and artificial Intelligence. He has worked with KDIGO to help improve care for CKD patients. He is the Co-Chair of the Immunizations Across the Lifespan Conference in Canada for the past 3 years. He was actively following and educating about the COVID-19 pandemic right from the beginning. He reaches out to the public with his role as a medical contributor to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) which is the national news agency in Canada. He has received an award from the College of Family Physicians of Canada for excellence in medical education.
