Dr Will Cranwell is a consultant Consultant Dermatologist and founder of KERA Dermatology in Melbourne, with advanced training across complex medical, laser and aesthetic dermatology.

He worked extensively in Australia’s largest laser dermatology centre in Brisbane and completed further training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. He is recognised nationally as a leader in procedural dermatology, a Board Member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists, and a trainer for doctors and nurses in Australia.

He is extensively involved in research, having published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, with a particular interest in acne and acne scarring.

Dr Johns is a Paediatrician, Allergist and Immunologist working with the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Team at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, where she leads the Rapid Infant Allergy Clinic. Through her role, she provides Consultant support for ADAPT, a peanut oral immunotherapy program developed by the National Allergy Centre of Excellence and medical supervision for clinical trials.

Dr Johns is passionate about allergy prevention and improving outcomes for children living with food allergies.

Pheobe is a Lived Experience Advocate and Clinical Psychologist who has worked in eating disorders across clinical, research, policy, and advocacy roles for the last 10 years. She was previously appointed Commissioner to the National Health Commission from 2022-2023, and has served on numerous state and national advisory groups over the years. This includes the NEDC’s Treatment Strategy Group developing Australia’s 10-Year Eating Disorder Roadmap, and currently being on the InsideOut Lived Experience Advisory Group. Pheobe continues to draw from both her lived experience and clinical expertise, informing her current PhD on supporting eating disorder clinicians with lived experience.
Dr Nick Wilsmore is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician from Eastern Health in Melbourne, Victoria.Dr Wilsmore has public appointments at Eastern Health (Box Hill and Maroondah Hospitals) and provides general medicine and respiratory admissions at Epworth Eastern Hospital.He is also Medical Lead for Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology at Eastern Health and Chair of the Council of Clinicians at Epworth Eastern.
Dr Gretchen Hitchins graduated from University of Queensland and later completed training with the RACGP, earning her fellowship in 1995. Dr Hitchins also has a Master of Mental Health (Adolescence). Her special interests include adolescent and women’s health, and palliative and end of life care.
Laurie West (46) is a proud Kalkadoon Djkunde man, and currently the Senior Lead, Quality and Accreditation with Kalwun Development Corporation, overseeing the implementation of quality frameworks and continuous improvement across the organisation.

He has held several other influential roles within the Southeast Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Sector, working closely with Queensland Health and mainstream GP practices to advance healthcare delivery.

Laurie holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science, is a qualified quality auditor, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Dr Rachel Kalman joined InsideOut as a part-time research officer in the Clinical Team. She also works as a GP in Sydney’s Inner West and previously worked as a Headspace GP. Rachel is passionate about improving outcomes for people living with an eating disorder.
Dr Melissa Ree has 20 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, including a postdoctoral fellowship at Oxford University. She co-founded Jeffery & Ree Clinical Psychologists and Sleep Matters with Paul Jeffery, and as a team, they supported 1000’s of Australians through high-quality psychological care. Dr Ree is also a Clinical Associate Professor at UWA, where she teaches and researches in the field of sleep, which remains her primary clinical and research focus. Currently, she consults one day a week as she manages her busy clinic and academic commitments.

She helps people experiencing sleep difficulties, anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem to regain balance, confidence, and wellbeing in their daily lives. Her approach is practical and often focused on the here-and-now, while also exploring deeper history and longer-term patterns.

Dr Charles Chan is a Consultant Psychiatrist, with over 20 years of experience across private practice, forensic psychiatry, research, and medical education. He has a particular interest in treatment-resistant depression, and advanced psychiatric therapies including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatment. Dr Chan has worked across NSW Justice Health, St John of God Hospitals, and the Brain and Mind Centre, and is also actively involved in digital psychiatry, healthcare AI, and clinical workflow innovation.
Hayley Ryan RN, MBA, GC Wound Management (Distinction), PhD(c), is an internationally recognised Clinical Nurse Consultant, researcher, educator, and Founder and Director of WoundRescue Pty Ltd, a specialist wound and skin integrity service operating across Australia and New Zealand. With more than 20 years of experience across acute, community, primary practice, disability, and digital health settings, she is recognised for her expertise in complex wound management, clinical governance, and health service innovation. Hayley is a Chief Investigator on the NHMRC ENABLE Partnership Grant, a PhD researcher at the University of Newcastle, an Adjunct Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney, and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Wollongong. She has authored numerous publications, clinical guidelines, systematic reviews, textbooks, and international consensus documents in wound care and skin integrity.

A former Chair of Wounds Australia, Hayley currently serves as Co-Chair of the Australian Government’s Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme (CWCS) Expert Advisory Group and as a Board Director of Diabetes Feet Australia. Her advocacy contributed to the establishment of Australia’s $48 million CWCS, improving access to essential wound care products for thousands of Australians. An award-winning clinician and international keynote speaker, Hayley regularly presents at leading conferences including EWMA, Wounds Australia, Diabetes Feet Australia, and APNA. Her work is driven by a commitment to advancing evidence-based practice, improving health equity, and delivering person-centred care through the philosophy of “healing lives, not just wounds.”

Clinical Associate Professor Talat Uppal is a Gynaecologist and Visiting Medical Officer at Macquarie University and Hornsby Hospital. She is the Director of Women’s Health Road, an RACGP-accredited, national hybrid, multidisciplinary practice offering private menopause management services.
Her niche expertise lies in managing abnormal menstrual bleeding (AUB), having pioneered Australia’s first digitally enhanced AUB Management Hub. She also leads the charity based, Bleed Better initiative, and founded the International Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Day to raise awareness.
With a passion for digital health, Dr Uppal researches how technology enhances patient journeys and healthcare practices and is a RANZCOG service medal award recipient for excellence in GP clinical education.

Dr Terri Foran is a Sexual Health Physician with a special clinical interest in contraception, menopause and the management of sexually transmitted infections. She has had numerous publications in these fields. Dr Foran holds the position of Conjoint Senior Lecturer in the School of Women’s and Children’s Health at UNSW Sydney, where she is regularly involved in the teaching of undergraduate students. She has worked in both private and public clinical practice, most recently as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Menopause Hub established at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick. She is a current Board member of the Australasian Menopause Society. She also has a particular interest in postgraduate clinical education and has presented at both National and International conferences as well as hosting regular podcasts for Healthed on topics related to sexual and reproductive health.

Elizabeth Utting is an accredited specialist in personal injury law. She practices exclusively in medical negligence law and has experience acting for both plaintiffs and defendants.

She has acted for plaintiffs in workers compensation, CTP and public liability claims. Elizabeth has practiced personal injuries law in New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland and Victoria.
