In this episode:

  • Chronic dandruff can usually be managed by anti-dandruff shampoos
  • Some may need to alternate this with a tar shampoo
  • Be sure to exclude underlying skin disorders
  • Those refractory to simpler treatment may need a referral to dermatologists to exclude an underlying skin or other rare disorders
