In this Healthed lecture, Associate Professor Greg Katsoulotos discusses his approach to selecting the most appropriate inhaler device for a particular patient, out of the plethora of devices currently available, and the various patient and device factors that need to be considered when making this selection. He also discusses common user errors associated with these inhalers including technique errors, and issues that lead to poor treatment adherence – a common challenge in chronic respiratory disease.
