General practice is the first port of call for the vast majority of patients with an acutely painful shoulder. In this talk, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Sushil Pant provides a practical and comprehensive framework for the assessment, investigation and management of these patients as they present in primary care. In addition, he will also be discussing important signs and scenarios that suggest a patient is likely to need urgent, or at least early referral.
