In this episode:

  • Be aware of voice disorders and ask patients about them
  • Don’t start treatment, or provide antibiotics or steroids without diagnosis
  • Understand the bigger picture, the patient and impact in the initial consultation
  • Be aware of underlying potential, if it has been an issue for more than 4 weeks, send patients to specialists to make a diagnosis and start the right treatment
