The COVID tidal wave is creating staff shortages and delays

GPs are getting knocked out by covid infections for days or weeks at a time, creating spillover work for their already-burned-out colleagues and longer wait times for patients.

A Healthed survey of around 500 GPs suggests that 12% of GPs caught covid in the last two months.
