Women with polycystic ovarian syndrome can be reassured that their chance of falling pregnant with assisted conception techniques is on a par with that of women without the syndrome.
So said Queensland fertility expert, Professor Hayden Homer on a recent Healthed podcast.
Professor Homer explained that although PCOS was the leading cause of anovulation, accounting for some 80% of cases, most women with this condition responded well to ovulation induction.
